policy on structures and memorials

Memorials.

The Fund for North Bennington, Inc. (The Fund) does not generally accept or allow benches, plaques, works of art, stones, signs or other physical objects to be placed on Fund land for purposes of memorializing individuals.

Memorial objects placed on land owned by The Fund without prior written permission will be removed.

Structures and Objects.

No shelters, fire pits, “fairy houses”, wildlife blinds or earthworks of any kind shall be constructed on lands of The Fund.  Visitors should leave nothing behind (e.g., trash, dog waste, painted rocks, toys, fairy figurines).  Any such structures or objects found on land of The Fund will be removed.  Responsible parties may be prohibited from further access to land of The Fund, or subject to conditions limiting future access.
